Jr. Cougars 2005 White T2 - Cobourg Silver Sticks Finalists!
Submitted By Aaron Walsh on Sunday, November 25, 2018
Agost Lourenco's Minor Bantam T2 White team travelled to Cobourg this past weekend to play in the regional Silver Sticks tournament.

Friday night's game saw another tough battle against the Metcalf Jets and in the end a 2-1 loss. The team came out flying on Saturday winning both games, 3-1 over the host Northumberland Nighthawks, then a convincing 6-1 win against Claringtong Toros. With a 2-1 record, it enabled the team to play in the Sunday Semi-Finals against a tough Kingston Canadiens team. The Cougars again came out flying on their way to a 4-2 victory, and punched their ticket to the Finals. Another tough matchup against Metcalf saw the team fall in the Finals by a score of 4-2. Many players showed a lot of grit and the team had a never-quit attitude. Congratulations to all the players, Agost and his staff on another great tournament.
